Eva Mendes’ Workout and Fitness Tips

Eva Mendes is a hot topic right now in Hollywood. Men love to look at her and women want to look like her. How could we not want to look like that? She’s so beautifully thin and sculpted.
Though we can’t actually look like Eva Mendes, we can get an idea of how to sculpt and tone our own bodies based off of her workout routine.
What she does:
- Low repetition weight lifting at the gym four times a week.
- Thirty minute cardio sessions while at the gym, usually sprinting and/or interval running.
- Participates in yoga sessions twice a week that generally involve Astanga Yoga poses.
What she has to say about staying fit:
- Minimum time for a cardio workout should be about 35 minutes, but you’d be surprised how much can be accomplished in that time frame.
- Though the type of yoga she usually practices is Astanga, her instructor will design a session to cater to her particular needs that day. For instance, if her muscles are tight then they do poses to loosen them up.
- She doesn’t like being called a role model because she’s “still a work in progress,” but she is okay with the idea of helping women embrace their strengths instead of being all glum about what they don’t have.
- Eva loves the Reebok EasyTone fitness brand because they help keep her toned even when she does everyday things like walk the dog.
