Jorgie Porter’s Weight Struggles

Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter recently confessed that when she was going to dance school, she was feeling so self conscious about her body that she went on very strict diets to slim down. Her teachers wanted her to be skinnier and this led her to constantly want to lose more weight.
She revealed that the diets she was following were so strict that she would often find herself binging afterwords.
“I was a size 12 and the teachers told me I had to lose weight and that I wasn’t allowed to eat things like chocolate, ice cream or cake,” she said.
Jorgie was forced to eat only fruits and vegetables for a week to lose weight but the restrictions made her cravings worse so she’d overeat to compensate and feel better. With this kind of yo-yo diet she was losing weight and gaining it back again.
“It was a constant battle – I wanted to be skinny, but I was always hungry,” she said.
Jorgie is now a proud size eight and she admits she’s no longer obsessed with her weight because her main focus now is on her work as an actress. On the other hand, she confessed she’d be even happier with a curvier body like Kim Kardashian’s.
“I’d prefer more curves,” she confessed. “If I could have anyone’s figure it would be Kim Kardashian’s. She looks amazing!”
