Lisa Lillien of Hungry Girl Shares her Diet and Exercise Plan

Lisa Lillien is a successful cookbook author and TV show host on The Food Network and founder of Hungry Girl. Despite her busy schedule, she still has time for exercise. So, what is Lisa’s normal exercise routine like? She does weight weight training twice a week and walks on the treadmill daily for 30-60 minutes. If she feels like she is gaining weight, she works out more and watches what she eats.
“I work out more. And I force myself to have a string of great days in a row where I seriously watch what I am eating, more closely than I usually do.”
If you look at Lisa’s fridge and pantry, you will likely see Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla almond milk, Laughing Cow Light cheese wedges, Fuji apples, turkey slices, pickles, cut fruit, sugar snap peas, 100 calorie packs of pistachios, high-fiber 80 calorie tortillas, egg beaters, broccoli slaw, tofu shirataki noodles, among others– a proof that she is eating a well-balanced, nutritious meal.
Lisa’s usual breakfast consists of egg with milk. For lunch, she eats salads while for dinner, she usually has sushi which she eats it at least four times per week.
Lisa also shared one piece of advice: If you’re not completely happy at your job, QUIT and do something that makes you truly happy.
