Vanessa Williams’s Greek Diet and Workout


Desperate Housewives star and mom of four Vanessa Williams shares about how she lives a healthy lifestyle.

She was in Greece during this time so of course, she indulged in healthy Greek cuisine. For breakfast, she had a cup of herbal tea followed by a cup of mango juice. She also ate scrambled eggs and yogurt with fruit. For lunch, she had a prosciutto wrapped around Greek cheese and small cherry tomatoes. And for dinner, she had a traditional Greek dinner with saganaki – hot cheese – salad, fries, grilled chicken & beef, eggplant and yogurt dressing. In short, Vanessa’s meal is a complete and balanced one that includes protein, carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables.

Vanessa’s exercise regime consist of weight training, yoga, Tae Bo, biking and salsa dancing. She does not stick to only one workout but instead mixes them up for variety.

Vanessa also admitted that unlike other stars out there, she is not obsess about her weight so she does not constantly weigh herself.

She shares her motto in life which is,

“My motto is to live and be prepared to work hard. It works with diet, exercise and our chosen professions.”
